 Eventbrite is set to lay off 100 staff members, despite growing its second-quarter revenue by 7% year-over-year.  

 The 18-date tour was scheduled to begin in Tampa, Florida today (Friday) but was canceled earlier this week. Ticketmaster contacted ticket-holders to provide information on refunds. 

A five-year agreement with the American Federation of Musicians Local 1 provides a base salary increase of 23%.

 The law will now require Ticketmaster and other live event promoters to share details about additional fees and prohibit resellers from counterfeiting tickets.

 The announcement comes after an article in Vulture last week detailing alleged misconduct by Associate Principal Trumpet Matthew Muckey and Principal Oboist Liang Wang in 2010
